For licensing in the US, you can solo it with a Student Pilot certificate and you need a minimum of a Sport Pilot certificate to carry passengers. Ontario has more than 1 and 1/4 million lakes…a 2 hour drive from my house puts me in Quebec and its more than 4,000.000 lakes. Reply
